Mary : How do you celebrate your birthday?
Eddie : I always go to a very nice restaurant with my family.
Mary : I am going to invite the whole class to my birthday party, would you like to come?
Eddie : Sure, when? Mary: Next Saturday.
Eddie : Okay, I’ll be there.

Justin : What did you do last night?
Ben : I stayed at home and watched TV.
Justin : Did you watch the Barcelona versus Madrid game?
Ben : Yes, it was a very evenly matched game.
Justin : What were the results of the game?
Ben : It ended in a tie.
Justin : What was the actual score?
Ben : It was three all.
Justin : Really? I thought Barcelona was going to win. They are a much better team than Madrid.
Ben : If Barcelona had played as they normally do, they should have won.
Justin : What happened?
Ben : Their goalkeepers got injured after the first goal, but he kept on playing anyway.
Justin : That explains it. How many more games are left this season?
Ben : That was the last game before the playoffs.
Justin : When do the playoffs start?
Ben : In a few weeks. Are you planning on watching them?
Justin : Of course! I really love watching football games on TV.
Ben : Me, too! Do you want to come over and watch the next game at my place? I'm planning on having a few people over to watch it together.
Justin : Sure, that would be great.
Ben : Ok, it's a date then!

Craig : I love just about anything by Prince.
Bill : So, you're into 80s music then?
Craig : Well, I like all kinds of music, but he is one of my favorites. How about you?
Bill : I like alternative music.
Craig : Do you have a favorite band?
Bill : To be honest, no. I'm always in search of new music to listen to.
Craig : Do you often go to concerts?
Bill : I usually go to see a live band about twice a month. What about you?
Craig : I love going to live gigs. Are there any good local bands playing around here that you'd recommend?
Bill : There's an open mic night at the pub down the road every Thursday night where my favorite local band usually plays. You should come along next week with me.
Craig : I'd love to, but I have a night class on Thursdays.
Bill : That's too bad, maybe another time.
Craig : Let me know if you hear about any good bands playing on the weekends. I have more free time then.
Bill : I'll let you know.
